In case we’re forgetting that these are BAD people, Shimmer and Mister Carrion are providing a reminder of just what kind of evil folks they are.
There are only three fingers in the bag. When Shimmer leapt off of the school roof after the battle, she managed to scoop up three of the severed fingers before she disappeared out of sight. Here’s the page if you were wondering….

If you’ve been wondering up to this point why Tek Support hasn’t been too kindly to his ‘partner’ Achilles, you can guess that he’s probably bitter about the whole captured and beaten thing.
