When I was trying to come up with an alias for ‘Tinker’ in the current storyline, I thought of the man who was the ultimate collector of the fantastic and unusual: Forrest J. Ackerman. If you aren’t familiar with the REAL Mister Ackerman, here’s his wikipedia bio: Forrest J. Ackerman
In case anyone was wondering, the reporter on the screen isn’t having a conversation with the Collector. He’s just watching a news report on his television screen, and he’s the kind of guy who talks back to his television set and thinks out loud a lot. You probably know some people like that…
