Bruiser isn’t in any hurry here, since he doesn’t feel threatened in the least by Achilles, even though he’s still weakened by the gas.
In case it isn’t clear in the last panel, Achilles has a big dent in his chin. Why are his eyes glowing red? We’ll find out soon enough.
Hope the robot has a really nice self-destruct system,,, a Bruiser-sized bomb!
Personally, I’d be a little scared if I was Bruiser, to fight a robot who blindly follow orders and have order to do “maximum damage” and I have rejected all opportunities to give up, that will undo the last restraint Achilles have.
I’m surprised that Achilles is still talking like… Achilles. I kinda figured that Tek Support would have programmed a kill mode in for this occasion. Maybe he thought it’d throw Bruiser off if he acts like normal before pulling out the laser eyes?
BaufenBeast: Remember Achilles is made by a ethical hero, so he do not kill as a first resort, notice how Achilles cancels his attack and gives Bruiser a possibility to surrender, but now all restraint are off. Berserker mode activated, or like your theory charging eye laser.
How does Bruiser figure red eyes means robot, especially in this world of superheroes?
