If any of you readers are fans of the classic movie ‘Young Frankenstein,” you’ll appreciate Chance’s paraphrasing of Teri Garr’s assessment of the monster’s supposed popularity with the opposite sex…
Also, I was thinking if Tek Support had built a female robot hero and stored the backup breasts in another drawer, then THAT would be the perfect place for a trap….
I’ll stop now.
Funny, I was actually thinking of Frankenstein, Jr.; another boy who used a robot to fight crime and accompanied it as it’s ‘sidekick.’
There’s probably hundreds (especially if you count shows like Lost in Space), but I only remember that one as specifically working this scenario. Wonder if Tek’s dad helped him out at first, too?
“Robbie the Robot” was a ’70s-80s toy. That was based on a movie where a scientist and his team could not assemble an alien robot after literally months of trying, but his son wonders into his office unaccompanied and puts together the robot in a couple hours.
The rest of the movie had the boy as the robot’s sidekick/mentor thru a series of adventures.
