One of the problems with only doing a single update each week, is the pacing sometimes seems slower than it’s intended. All the action of the last several pages actually takes place in a very short amount of time, even though it’s unfolding very gradually. NanoMan hasn’t been gone from the scene for very long, even if it seems that way. If you read the last several pages all together, you’ll see that he really only dodged Roid Rage’s last punch, and has pretty much flown around the room and returned again in the short time that it took to get her to surrender.
I’ll probably be collecting the Roid Rage story in book form after the tale concludes, so you’ll be able to read it all in one sitting and have a better feel for the page-to-page story pacing as I intend it to read.
Riod Rage is now the Nemesis of Nanoman.
Asuming both of them survive this.
Quick Mega Mime invisible wall!
You’ll notice off to the right behind Roid Rage/Spandex Girl that a pair of white-gloved hands is at the ready….
I saw those, too. Let’s hope it’s enough. It’s interesting to see the supers at work when the henchmen are out of the picture. Let’s hope they prove more impressive than they have in the past.
Of course, reading this two years after it was published makes the pacing work just fine! 🙂
