so the big hero doesn´t prevent ALL catastrophe´s simply cause he´s good, but rather only interferes when it suits his plan for our world?

I can think of several reasons not to prevent a disaster. One reason is that all the alternative timelines are worse. Another one would be that you can’t and no matter how you tweak the timeline it still happens anyway because for some reason it’s inevitable. A third reason might be that there are timejumpers bigger and badder then you that want certain things about the timeline left in place and this is one of them. A 4th reason might simply be that you have a bad feeling about interfering with this one that you didn’t with the others. I’m sure that all of us might be able to think of a few others along those lines with a moment or two of thought. ^_~
As we learned from Flashpoint Paradox: Do not try to alter the timeline too much. Stuff can get worse. WAY worse.
