If you happen to be one of the newer Henchmen readers who may not have read through the entire archive of stories, Mighty Man is our version of the generic good-guy hero who sits at the top of superhero food chain. If you’re familiar with the Superman comics from the 60’s and 70’s, he’s inspired by the Curt Swan/Murphy Anderson version from back then.
A lot of you regular readers are already starting to pick up some of the possible threads for where we’re going with this next arc, so I shouldn’t say too much more, except to note that this is meant to be just one starting point, and it will take a few pages to come together.
dude, when a frikin superhero is wary of that thingy, it might be wise for mere mortals to vamoose. just saying
I’ve noticed scientists in comics from that era never listen to warnings.
Then again, aside from a few giant, radioactive monsters, humanity-destroying plagues, and assorted robotic takeovers, when has fictional science ever gone wrong?
To be fair, these seem to be US Scientists. And the US somehow has this wierd issue with a centralised Federal Government. It is really vexing us over here in Europe.
Well, we did try to get away from the whole centralized federal government thing back in the 1860’s, but we kind of lost the war.
And alien invasions! We mustn’t forget the garden-variety alien invasions which could cover any or all of those things you state here.
You tried to keep slavery going. Nothing else. Unless there was another “State Right” you wanted to defend that I am not aware off.
