If you go way back to the first few pages of the original Henchmen story (The VIXX Saga, if you’re new around here…) you’ll see that one of the first rules of being a smart Henchman is knowing when it’s time to leave. It’s like the old Kenny Rogers song – you gotta know when to fold ’em. Unfortunately, the new boss makes a classic ‘Rookie’ mistake….
So I’m guessing his package didn’t cover “break me out of prison if I get arrested”.
Also rofessionnal henchman seem rather lucrative if they get to keep the loot when the boss get arrested…
they also have to foot the bill for their own escape, which can get mighty expensive….never mind the occasional hospital bill. all in all, they don´t strike me as rolling in dough.
The furious fists of Fury Fist? Golly, somebody needs to work on his banter.
to be fair. Fury Fist has never been portrayed as particularly smart…
‘Kirby’ deliveries’?
I see what you did there.
🙂
This may explain why so few supervillains ever actually succeed in their lives of villainy. Stupidity–the superpower that saves humans from themselves.
If super villains was smart they would not be super villains, think of it “super-demolition for hire” we tear down your old obsolete bulding super fast….
Yea, that’s one thing that has always bothered me. There are only very few stories out there were there are supers who just decide to get rich (legally). (then again stories obviously wouldn’t focus on those people but still, you should see them pass by in stories every once in a while right?)
If you see a super demolition man headed to work on the street ignoring the hero the fighting the villain, how would you know? They would still just be a random passerby in the street unless they chose to get involved with the fight. Doubly so if there is already a fight going on, its easy to say that isn’t my problem because good ol’ whatshisname has things well in hand.
