This where the concept of multiple files comes in. There’s no reason Tek couldn’t just make identical copies for Panda Protector and Young Achilles alike in addition to multiple backups in the event of unexpected circumstances (Different sites, of course!) while keeping the master copy for himself. In theory you can make an infinite number of file copies. It’s the computer space you have available that provides one practical limit. @_@
But if he simply copies data and personality on to Young Achilles, he’s robbing the young man of free will. That strikes me as a little creepy. But maybe the panda is meant to be a clumsy backup to Young Achilles, just as the original Achilles was a fumbling backup for his father.
…it wouldn’t be Young Achilles that the data and personality gets copied upon but rather the pocket computer he carries around. Mind you, I suppose a believer in robotic civil rights could say there’s an element of creepiness in both Panda Protector and Mr. Pocket Computer starting out with the same personality but I’m sure this will change over time as they have different experiences.
Oddly that body might be better suited for the Hero that used to be Achilles.
Did the panda just get a lot bigger, or is that just perspective and it got closer to us?
If the panda got ALL the data and personality, I guess that means Young Achilles is going to have to come up with his own moves and modus operandi.

To judge by this earlier cartoon….
