I was originally going to have everyone wearing helmets so that everyone could easily hear each other when they’re flying, but I realized that it would be too hard for readers to tell which rider was which character. So, I’m exercising my editorial prerogative and you can just assume that they can somehow all hear each other just fine…
This was a fun page to illustrate. I almost wish I could have left off all of the dialog balloons, but then the story would never move forward….
I kept thinking about Doc Brown’s last line in Back to the Future as I was working on this comic. The quote isn’t exact, but it still brings back memories. Now I’m going to have to go back and watch the movies again….
The art on this page is a real scrambled mix of style for me. I’m trying to come up with a way to keep up the pace of creating and posting new pages and I think I need to simplify things.
